Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of musculo-skeletal conditions

The Castle Clinic is a brand new Osteopathic clinic based in the heart of Windsor specialising in the treatment of back pain and pain associated with the musculo-skeletal system.

Patients are treated with a combination of Osteopathy and Medical Acupuncture.

The clinic treats people of any age from the newborn to the elderly and from pregnant women to those with sports injuries.

The clinic is located within the Spire orthopaedic consulting clinic on Frances Road. There are limited parking spaces for use by patients.

To qualify, an osteopath must study for four to five years for an undergraduate degree. This is similar to a medical degree, with more emphasis on anatomy and musculoskeletal medicine and includes more than 1,000 hours of practical training in osteopathic techniques.

All practitioners have undergone postgraduate training in medical acupuncture with the British Medical Acupuncture Society enabling them to perform western medical acupuncture on their patients as required.
